RB Alex Collins facing a one-week suspension at Arkansas
Bret Bielema says his former five-star tailback is removed from team activities for a week, but declines to give reason.

But Collins' 2014 is off to a somewhat rockier start. Bret Bielema anounced Monday that Collins has been suspended from team activities for one week, though he's still expected to meet with strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert.
Bielema declined to offer his reasoning for the suspension, though he said it was not football-related and perhaps suggested it had something to do with Collins's use of social media. He has maintained an active Twitter account.
"Alex will be out this week, see how he handles this week and get ourselves moving forward," Bielema said, per WholeHogSports.com. "He's been removed from all social media until further notice. He's a tremendous young man that has to step up in certain areas to get where we want to be and I think he'll do that."
If Collins' suspension lasts only one week as planned, it won't threaten his availability for spring camp ... or, likely, his performance on the football field this fall. But it might cause some worries for Razorback supporters if there's any more off-field hiccups between now and then.
