The Buccaneers claimed Williams off waivers Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Williams will head to Tampa Bay after spending the first two years of his career with the Giants, where he logged 16 tackles (16 solo) and an interception in eight games played. The 26-year-old will now try to carve himself a depth role in the Buccaneers' secondary.

Rodarius Williams: Cut by Giants
Williams was waived by the Giants on Saturday, Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic reports.
Williams spent time between the Giants' active roster and practice squad over the previous two seasons. Overall, he suited up for eight games total and recorded 15 solo tackles and one interception. The 26-year-old will now have to look for a chance elsewhere.

Giants' Rodarius Williams: Tallies 10 tackles Week 18
Williams posted 10 tackles (all solo) in the Giants' loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
New York rested most of its starters in the contest, giving players unaccustomed to a major role a chance in the spotlight. Williams was one of those players -- he entered Sunday having been a healthy scratch in each of the previous five weeks. The second-year cornerback responded with a career-high 10 stops, but he's unlikely to see much (if any) action next Sunday in New York's wild-card matchup versus Minnesota.

Giants' Rodarius Williams: Nabs first career interception
Williams recorded one solo tackle and two passes defensed -- including an interception -- Thursday in a Week 12 loss to Dallas.
Williams' pick came in Giants territory on Dallas' second drive of the contest. It was his first career interception in seven NFL games. Williams suffered a torn ACL in Week 5 last season and didn't return until last week against Detroit, but he appears to be gaining traction in New York's secondary, as he played a career-high 50 defensive snaps (67 percent of the Giants' total) on Thanksgiving.

Giants' Rodarius Williams: Clears injury report Wednesday
Williams (knee) was not listed on the Giants' injury report Wednesday.
Williams was restored to the Giants' active roster Monday after taking the full 21-day window to practice while returning from the team's injured reserve. As a result, the second-year cornerback appears set to make his 2022 debut this Sunday against the Lions. Williams logged one tackle and played 47 of his 62 snaps on defense before suffering a season-ending torn ACL in Week 5 last season, so he'll likely slot into a reserve role alongside Nick McCloud and Cor'Dale Flott moving forward.
