Athletics' Austin Beck: Battling quadriceps soreness

Beck has been battling a sore right quadriceps, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Beck hasn't played since June 1 but is considered day-to-day and has not been placed on the injured list. He hit .258/.309/.461 with a 37.6 percent strikeout rate in 45 games for High-A Stockton prior to the injury.
