Thomas will sit Saturday against Houston.
Thomas started nine of the first 13 games in September, but he's now found himself on the bench for two consecutive contests. He hasn't looked worthy of a regular role in his first brief taste of MLB action, struggling to a .580 OPS and a 37.5 percent strikeout rate. Chad Pinder will be the left fielder Saturday.
