Rivero (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day DL retroactive to March 30, MLB.com reports.
Rivero has yet to show off his skills for the Braves since being acquired via the Rule 5 draft, as the reliever hasn't made an appearance all spring. Due to the date of the transaction, Rivero would be eligible to return in just over a week, though it's unlikely the right-hander is ready at that time.
