Cody Carroll: Let go by San Francisco

The Giants released Carroll from his minor-league contract Aug. 23.

Carroll submitted a 7.62 ERA and 2.08 WHIP in 39 innings at Triple-A Sacramento before he was handed his walking papers. The 29-year-old right-hander last appeared in the majors with the Orioles in 2020, when he made three relief appearances.
