Gurriel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Miami.

After the Marlins closed the gap to 2-1 with a run in the bottom of the fifth inning, Gurriel responded a half inning later with a solo shot to re-establish the two-run cushion. It was his 15th of the season and snapped a 17-game drought without a long ball. Gurriel, who missed one game last week with a hamstring injury, is 8-for-27 (.296) with three RBI and five runs scored in the seven games since.
