Diamondbacks' Lourdes Gurriel: Getting breather Saturday

Gurriel isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup for Saturday's game versus Detroit.

Gurriel has gone just 1-for-18 with nine strikeouts across his past five games, so the D-backs will give him a day to regroup Saturday. Jake McCarthy, Corbin Carroll and Pavin Smith will start across the outfield while Gurriel rests.
