Marlins' Avisail Garcia: On bench for opener

Garcia is out of the lineup for Thursday's season opener against the Pirates.

Garcia's $12 million salary is the second-highest on the Marlins, but he nonetheless finds himself on the bench for Opening Day against right-hander Mitch Keller. Bryan De La Cruz will be the designated hitter, while Nick Gordon and Jesus Sanchez will handle the corner outfield spots.
