DuRapau announced Monday that he has retired from professional baseball, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
DuRapau's major-league career consists of 17.1 innings for the Pirates in 2019, during which he struggled to a 9.35 ERA. The 29-year-old spent last season with Double-A Midland in the Athletics' system, posting a 3.98 ERA in 54.1 frames.
