Hosmer isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rockies.
Hosmer drew starts in the last five games and went 5-for-18 with a double, five runs and four RBI. However, Luke Voit will start at first base while Sergio Alcantara enters the lineup at the hot corner Friday.
