Simon Muzziotti: Released by Philadelphia

The Phillies released Muzziotti on Tuesday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Muzziotti got a cup of coffee with the Phillies in 2022, but he was removed from their 40-man roster before this season and is now looking for employment elsewhere. The 25-year-old outfielder has slashed .235/.297/.373 with five home runs and five steals in 61 games at the Triple-A level this season.
