Tucker Davidson: Reaches free agency

Davidson elected free agency Monday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Davidson opted for free agency rather than accepting an outright assignment from the Orioles. The left-hander made one extended relief appearance for Baltimore this season, tossing 4.2 shutout innings. He collected a 3.89 ERA and 104:46 K:BB over 115.2 frames covering 17 starts and 15 relief appearances at Triple-A Norfolk.
