Nuno was released by the Nationals Monday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Nuno was assigned to Triple-A Fresno to begin the season. However, the team has now officially parted ways with him after he posted a 7.25 ERA and 1.75 WHIP with 25 strikeouts across 22.1 innings this season.
