White Sox's Luis Robert: Getting afternoon off

Robert is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Zach DeLoach will step in as Chicago's No. 2 hitter and starter in center field while Robert retreats to the bench for the day game after a night game. Robert had started in each of the White Sox's last 13 games, slashing .264/.298/.321 with no home runs, one stolen base, seven runs and two RBI during that stretch.
