Kaiser cleared waivers Wednesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Reno, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Kaiser spent most of the season at Triple-A, where he slashed .236/.345/.406 with six homers, 31 RBI and 32 runs scored across 273 plate appearances. It's unknown whether the 28-year-old will elect to test the free-agent market, though he would be unlikely to attract more than a minor-league deal if he were to do so.

President of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos said Tuesday that Atlanta will pick up Albies' (hand) $7 million club option for 2026, Mark Zinno of 92.9 The Game reports.

Albies endured one of the worst offensive seasons of his career in 2025, slashing just .240/.306/.365 with 16 homers, 74 RBI and 14 stolen bases across 667 plate appearances. He also suffered a fracture in his left hand toward the end of the season. Despite the infielder's hardships, Atlanta will stand pat with its commitment to Albies at the keystone rather than pay him the $4 million buyout he would have been owed.

The Rockies declined Farmer's $4 million mutual option for 2026 on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The club will pay him a $750,000 buyout instead. Farmer slashed just .227/.280/.365 with eight home runs over 97 contests for the Rockies this season. The utility infielder is now a free agent.

Colorado declined its $7 million mutual option on Estrada (hamstring) for the 2026 season Monday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Harding notes that Estrada is eligible for arbitration, so he'll remain under club control for the moment. Estrada appeared in only 39 games in 2025 due to various injuries, including a hamstring issue that forced him to be shut down for nearly the last two months of season. He slashed .253/.285/.370 with three home runs, 21 RBI, one stolen base and 14 runs scored.

Rojas will start at second base and bat ninth in Friday's Game 6 of the World Series versus the Blue Jays.

It's Rojas' first start of the World Series and his third start this postseason. With Rojas manning second base, Tommy Edman has shifted to center field for the Dodgers. Andy Pages will begin the contest on the bench for the second straight game.

Torres underwent surgery Friday to repair a sports hernia on his left side, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Torres played through the injury for the final month of the regular season and playoffs, and the operation was anticipated. The expectation is that Torres will be cleared for baseball activities in four weeks, which would give him plenty of time to gear up for spring training. Torres is an impending free agent after slashing .256/.358/.387 with 16 home runs and an 85:101 BB:K over 145 regular-season contests for the Tigers.

Edman said Saturday that he and the Dodgers will "probably evaluate" whether he should undergo offseason surgery on his nagging right ankle injury, DodgersBeat.com reports.

Edman first injured his ankle in June 2024 on a rehab assignment when he was still a member of the Cardinals. He's aggravated it multiple times since then, leading to a pair of stints on the injured list this season. While Edman noted Saturday that his ankle is currently "feeling really good," the Dodgers have been limiting the super utility player to second base due to concern over the injury flaring up again. If it's decided after the World Series that ankle surgery is needed, Edman could get a late start to the 2026 season. The lingering ankle problem could be the main cause in Edman's lack of activity on the basepaths the last two years. After averaging 29.7 steals per season from 2021-to-2023 with the Cardinals, Edman has just nine stolen bases in 10 attempts during his 134 games as a Dodger, and he's also seen his sprint speed drop off the last two seasons.

Red Sox director of player development Brian Abraham said recently that adding strength will be "a big focus" for Campbell this offseason, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Campbell lost weight during the season -- which is fairly typical, particularly for young players -- and the Red Sox believe that contributed to a dip in how hard he was able to impact the ball. It was a disappointing rookie campaign for Campbell, who finished with a .223/.319/.345 batting line over 67 games for the Red Sox before spending the final three-plus months in the minors. The 23-year-old will compete in spring training for a spot on Boston's Opening Day roster. Campbell is primarily a second baseman, but he also saw playing time in the outfield for the Red Sox and was introduced to first base at Triple-A Worcester.

Donovan underwent surgery Oct. 7 to repair a sports hernia, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Donovan had dealt with a nagging groin issue for much of the second half before eventually being shut down. Last week's operation should not affect his availability for the beginning of spring training, barring any setbacks. Donovan made his first All-Star team in 2025, finishing with a .287/.353/.422 batting line, 10 home runs and 32 doubles over 118 contests.

Kiner-Falefa will start at second base and bat eighth in Friday's ALCS Game 5 against the Mariners.

With Anthony Santander (back) removed from the ALCS roster ahead of Game 4, the Blue Jays have shifted Addison Barger to right field and Ernie Clement to third base while installing Kiner-Falefa at the keystone for the second straight contest. Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in the Blue Jays' Game 4 victory.
