  • Colt Keith 3B | DET

Tigers' Colt Keith: Scratched with thumb injury

Keith was scratched from Monday's lineup against Toronto due to left thumb soreness.

The injury may have flared up during the Tigers' weekend series against the Rockies, and Hao-Yu Lee will now start at third base Monday. Keith will undergo more tests so that the medical staff can determine a recovery timeline, but the 25-year-old infielder can be considered day-to-day for now.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Contributes to win

Jung went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-6 win over Arizona.

Jung singled home a run during the Rangers' three-run fifth inning to increase their lead. This was his second game back from a calf injury, and Jung posted a second consecutive two-hit game with an RBI and a run scored. After a promising first half in which he posted an .819 OPS, Jung has been limited to just seven games since the All-Star break.

  • Zack Gelof 3B | ATH

Athletics' Zack Gelof: Drives 18th homer

Gelof went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional RBI, two additional runs scored and two walks in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Mariners.

Gelof opened the scoring with a solo homer that left his bat at 106.4 mph down the left-field line in the first inning. The 26-year-old had been in a mini-funk entering Sunday, going 3-for-27 (.111) over his past seven contests. On the year, Gelof is slashing .252/.319/.461 with 18 homers, 46 RBI, 68 runs and 14 stolen bases in 99 games.

  • Kazuma Okamoto 3B | TOR

Blue Jays' Kazuma Okamoto: Belts another homer

Okamoto went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run during Sunday's 8-1 win over Baltimore.

George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero and Okamoto smacked three consecutive solo homers off Trevor Rogers in the fifth inning, resulting in a 4-1 lead for the Blue Jays. Okamoto has four home runs over his last six games and is up to 32 homers on the year. He is three home runs shy from tying the 10th-most home runs in a season by a major-league rookie.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Astros' Isaac Paredes: Homers in loss

Paredes went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 14-4 loss to the Rays.

Paredes got the Astros on the board with a two-run blast in the sixth inning. The 27-year-old has been stellar in September, recording a hit in 11 of 12 games this month with seven extra-base hits, 12 RBI and eight runs scored. • Weston Wilson 3B | SEA

Mariners' Weston Wilson: Five-hit barrage in rout

Wilson went 5-for-6 with a double, one RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 19-1 win over the Athletics.

The Mariners racked up 23 hits, and Wilson did more than his fair share of damage from the bottom of the order. He had gone just 8-for-53 (.151) over his previous 21 games since the start of August before breaking out Saturday. Wilson has been seeing a short-side platoon role at third base lately, sharing the position with switch-hitter Brock Rodden. On the year, Wilson is batting .217 with a .636 OPS, four home runs, 13 RBI, 21 runs scored, five doubles and six stolen bases over 160 plate appearances between the Mariners and the Orioles.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Two hits in return

Jung went 2-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Before coming off the injured list Saturday, Jung last played July 21 versus the White Sox before he was shelved by a calf strain. The injury put a damper on what was shaping up be a strong season for the third baseman. Through 93 contests, Jung is batting .295 with an .802 OPS, nine home runs, 36 RBI, 47 runs scored, 23 doubles, one triple and one stolen base.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

Angels' Yoan Moncada: Likely out for rest of 2026

Moncada (knee) isn't expected to play again this season, MLB.com reports.

Moncada underwent right knee surgery in early June. He's been rehabbing at his home in Florida but isn't close to a return to game action. In the likely event that Moncada's campaign is indeed over, he'll finish with a .189/.308/.297 slash line, three homers, nine runs, 10 RBI and one stolen base over 41 games.

  • Max Muncy 3B | ATH

Athletics' Max Muncy: Hitting bench in Langeliers' return

Muncy is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners.

Muncy had started in seven of the Athletics' previous eight games -- six at designated hitter, one at third base -- and slashed .385/.407/.615 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs over that stretch, but he could see fewer opportunities over the final two weeks of the season. The Athletics reinstated Shea Langeliers (knee) from the injured list Saturday, and he's expected to operate as the team's primary DH the rest of the way, closing off Muncy's primary path to playing time.
