Kerry Carpenter RF | DET
Tigers' Kerry Carpenter: Ditches walking boot
Carpenter (foot) was on track to have his walking boot removed this past weekend, MLB.com reports.
The Tigers haven't officially confirmed whether Carpenter did in fact have his boot removed, but assuming that came to pass, the 28-year-old could be ready to start ramping up his baseball activities again. Carpenter has been on the shelf since July 27 due to left foot plantar fasciitis and appeared to be in line to come back from the injured list during the second half of August before a setback ended up pushing back his return date.

Chase DeLauter RF | CLE
Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Four hits in win
DeLauter started in right field and went 4-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 11-1 win over the Royals.
DeLauter, who recorded his third four-hit game, keeps chugging along deep into his rookie season. Sunday's start in right field marked his first in the field since returning from a hamstring injury; he served as the designated hitter the previous two games.

Jonny DeLuca RF | TB
Rays' Jonny DeLuca: Delivers clutch homer in win
DeLuca went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run and three RBI in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Padres.
DeLuca came through with Tampa Bay down to its final out, taking Mason Miller deep for a game-tying two-run homer in the ninth inning to force extras in the eventual victory. He would drive in another run in the 11th, reaching base due to a fielding error. His three RBI tied a season high and continued a productive stretch in which he's recorded at least one hit in 10 of his last 12 games. DeLuca is batting .266 with a .732 OPS across 89 games this season.

Athletics' Lawrence Butler: Stays hot in Sunday's loss
Butler went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Sunday's 8-5 loss to the Orioles.
Butler opened the scoring with a two-RBI double in the first inning. The 26-year-old is riding an eight-game hitting streak and has driven in at least one run in seven games during that span. It's been a big August for the right fielder, who is slashing .296/.389/.510 with six homers, 17 RBI, 15 runs and four stolen bases in 27 contests this month. Lazaro Montes RF | SEA
Mariners' Lazaro Montes: Set for promotion this week
The Mariners are expected to call up Montes from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.
Montes will make the leap to the big leagues after slashing .274/.369/.571 with 13 home runs and three stolen bases in 44 games since being bumped up from Double-A Arkansas to Triple-A in early July. The 21-year-old bats from the left side of the plate and has been a full-time right fielder and designated hitter in the minors this season, so he could end up occupying the strong side of a platoon with Taylor Ward, who has mustered a lowly .371 OPS since being acquired from the Orioles on Aug. 3.

LaMonte Wade Jr. LF | HOU
Astros' LaMonte Wade: Homers off bench Sunday
Wade went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mets.
Wade's sixth-inning long ball was the difference in this contest after he came on to pinch hit for Cam Smith. Though he's shifted into more of a part-time role lately, Wade has gone 10-for-37 (.270 average) over 19 contests in August, including three extra-base hits and five RBI.

Heliot Ramos RF | NYY
Yankees' Heliot Ramos: Goes deep Sunday
Ramos went 2-for-2 with a three-run homer and a pair of walks in Sunday's 16-1 win over the Red Sox.
Getting the start in right field against the left-handed Ranger Suarez, Ramos extended New York's lead to 5-0 in the fifth inning with a three-run, 416-foot blast, his 10th homer this season and first with the Yankees. Ramos had been struggling mightily in New York prior to Sunday, going just 7-for-59 (.119) with a .461 OPS in his first 20 games following a trade from San Francisco. Ramos figures to remain in the short side of a right-field platoon with Spencer Jones until Aaron Judge (ribs) is able to return.

Roman Anthony LF | BOS
Red Sox's Roman Anthony: Two hits in return
Anthony went 2-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 16-1 loss to the Yankees.
While there wasn't much to be excited about for Boston on Sunday, Anthony's return to the lineup, following a nearly four-month stint on the IL, was certainly a bright spot. Anthony, who led off for the Red Sox, is expected to serve as their primary DH down the stretch. He's slashing .239/.358/.336 with one homer, 12 runs scored, five RBI and two steals across 134 plate appearances this year.

Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Moves to injured list
The Twins placed Buxton on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a right hip impingement.
The veteran outfielder has dealt with the hip impingement for much of the season and will return to the IL on Sunday after sitting out four straight games. It was previously reported that Buxton could require offseason surgery to address the injury, so it's possible he will be shut down for the season if he doesn't show enough improvement soon. Top prospect Walker Jenkins should continue to operate as Minnesota's primary center fielder.

Gabriel Gonzalez LF | MIN
Twins' Gabriel Gonzalez: Promoted to Minnesota
The Twins recalled Gonzalez from Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday.
Gonzalez will get his second stint with the big-league club in 2026 after appearing in one game against Boston in late May. With St. Paul, the 22-year-old has a slash line of .254/.318/.423 with 15 homers and 51 RBI over 444 plate appearances this season. The Twins sent Byron Buxton (hip) to the injured list in a corresponding move.
