Hector Rodriguez RF | CIN
Reds' Hector Rodriguez: Runs on-base streak to 13 games
Rodriguez went 2-for-4 in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Brewers.
Rodriguez extended an on-base streak to 13 games with a first-inning single. He's gone 17-for-51 (.333) with four walks, two doubles, five home runs, nine RBI and 10 runs scored during the streak. The left-handed batter was recently moved to the leadoff spot against right-handers and has thrived there in a small sample, slashing .321/.345/.679 in six contests atop the order. As the Reds pivot to focus on 2027, Rodriguez should see ample opportunities to make his case for a roster spot over the final month of the regular season.

Troy Johnston RF | COL
Rockies' Troy Johnston: Starts key rally
Johnston went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Saturday against the Cardinals.
Johnston helped ignite a six-run rally in the fifth inning for the Rockies, singling in a run before coming around to score. He has started only eight of the team's last 14 games since Aug. 22. Johnston has hit well in that span, going 11-for-31 with one home run, four RBI and three runs scored. However, his lack of counting stats and inconsistent playing time diminish his value to fantasy managers.

Carlos Jorge CF | CIN
Reds' Carlos Jorge: Makes first MLB start
Jorge started in center field and went 0-for-4 in Saturday's 5-3 win over Milwaukee.
Jorge, who was called up Friday and made his MLB debut as a pinch hitter that night, drew his first start as a major-leaguer Saturday. At the time of his call-up Friday, Reds manager Terry Francona suggested Mark Sheldon of MLB.com the lefty-swinging Jorge would get plenty of action in center field against right-handers. Jorge is known for his speed and stole 33 bases in the minors this year, and he had at least 37 thefts in each of his previous three seasons.

Dylan Crews RF | WAS
Nationals' Dylan Crews: Nabs steal in loss

Joshua Baez LF | STL
Cardinals' Joshua Baez: Goes yard in loss

Baez has started to find a groove at the plate, hitting safely in eight of his last nine games. He's gone 10-for-29 (.345) with three homers and six RBI in that span. The rookie outfielder is hitting .229 with an .872 OPS, seven homers, 15 RBI, 13 runs scored, four doubles and two stolen bases over his first 21 major-league contests, and he should see steady time in left field down the stretch.

McCarthy has a career-high 29 steals this season, but it's the overall package that has elevated him to a consistent spot atop the lineup for the Rockies. On the year, he's slashing .267/.373/.429 with 16 home runs, 67 RBI, 96 runs scored and nine steals across 624 plate appearances.

Alek Thomas CF | LAD
Dodgers' Alek Thomas: Designated for assignment
The Dodgers designated Thomas for assignment Saturday.
Thomas spent some time with the big-league club in late August but was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sept. 1. He'd been hitting well since his return to OKC, going 4-for-15 with three homers, four RBI and a stolen base over three games, but Los Angeles DFA'd him to make room on the 40-man roster for Bobby Miller (shoulder), who was activated from the 60-day injured list.
