76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Leaves for locker room Friday

Edgecombe exited to the locker room in the first quarter of Friday's game against the Magic due to an apparent eye injury, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Edgecombe was hit in the eye and exited the game with 3:01 remaining in the opening quarter. If the rookie is unable to return, Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain are candidates for increased playing time the rest of the way.
