The Hawks are resting most of their projected starters and reserves on the second night of a back-to-back, meaning Johnson will sit out the final game of the preseason. The power forward will aim to get ready for the regular-season opener against Brooklyn next Wednesday, as he figures to play a huge role for the Hawks in 2024-25 as the team's second go-to player on offense behind Trae Young.
