Withey (illness) is expected to play Friday against the Timberwolves.
Withey has slotted in as the Jazz's backup center since early March with Derrick Favors (knee) out, but both players are expected to suit up Friday, potentially leaving room for only one in the rotation. The Jazz will finish out a back-to-back set Saturday against the Trail Blazers, so there's a good possibility that Favors will be kept out of that contest, leaving the backup center minutes available solely for Withey, assuming he incurs no setbacks with the illness.
