Johnny Hamilton: Cut by Atlanta

The Hawks waived Hamilton on Friday.

Atlanta will retain Hamilton's G League rights, should he opt to stick around stateside rather than pursuing opportunities overseas. The seven-foot center has yet to appear at the NBA level since turning pro in 2018.
