Marcus Garrett: Let go by Charlotte

The Hornets waived Garrett on Monday.

Charlotte signed Garrett to a training camp contract Saturday, and it remains possible that he'll open the new season as part of the G League's Greensboro Swarm. Over 27 G League regular-season appearances in 2024-25, the 26-year-old averaged 9.4 points, 3.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 28.9 minutes per game.
