Shamet will start Thursday's game against Dallas, Malika Andrews of ESPN reports.
Coming off of a pair of losses to Milwaukee, the Nets will shake up the lineup and insert Shamet at one guard spot, while Blake Griffin also enters the starting five. DeAndre Jordan and Jeff Green will both head to the bench.
