Hayes logged two points (1-1 FG) and three rebounds in 15 minutes before fouling out of Thursday's 110-104 victory over Orlando.
Hayes has been usurped by Herbert Jones and Josh Hart for frontcourt minutes, as the Pelicans have elected to play smaller. Even with Jonas Valanciunas out (illness), Hayes still doesn't see meaningful run off the bench. It's possible that New Orleans' brass has soured on Hayes. The 21-year-old can be stashed in dynasties but shouldn't warrant a look elsewhere.
