Birch will come off the bench for Saturday's Game 1 against the 76ers, Austin Krell of USA Today reports.

The Raptors will start small despite going up against Joel Embiid, so Birch will come off the bench. As a reserve, he's averaged 4.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.0 minutes.
