Rockets' John Wall: Will be waived

Wall (abdomen) was notified that he'll be waived by the Rockets on Thursday, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

Wall got traded from the Clippers to the Rockets in a three-team deal before the NBA's trade deadline. The veteran point guard will soon become a free agent if he passes through the league's waivers unclaimed. Expect Wall to receive interest from plenty of contending teams seeking experienced backcourt depth.
