  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Questionable for Saturday

Davis (adductor) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings.

Davis did not return to Thursday's loss to Golden State due to a minor groin strain after logging just 11 minutes. Shams Charania of ESPN reported Friday that the star big man is likely to miss a few games, though Davis has yet to be ruled out and is dealing with what the team is now calling right adductor soreness. If he ends up being sidelined, Daniel Gafford and Caleb Martin could see increased minutes in the frontcourt, while Dwight Powell and Moussa Cisse are candidates to enter the rotation.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Iffy for Saturday

Sengun is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers due to left calf tightness.

Sengun was also listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's win over the Lakers due to the calf issue, though he suited up and recorded 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal across 31 minutes. If he's unable to go Saturday, Steven Adams and Clint Capela are candidates for increased roles. Over his last five appearances, Sengun has averaged 19.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks in 33.2 minutes per game.

  • Bam Adebayo C | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Won't play Friday vs. Atlanta

Adebayo (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hawks.

Adebayo popped up on Thursday's injury report due to lower back soreness, and he was downgraded to doubtful Friday before eventually being ruled out. Friday's contest is the first leg of a back-to-back set, so the veteran center could be available to play against the Pacers on Saturday. Kel'el Ware should step into a larger role in Adebayo's absence, and more minutes will be available for the likes of Jaime Jaquez, Simone Fontecchio and Nikola Jovic.

  • Goga Bitadze C | ORL

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Won't play Friday

Bitadze (knee) will not play Friday against the Hornets.

Bitadze was unable to shake his questionable tag for this contest and will miss his second straight game. For now, he can be considered questionable for the second leg of this back-to-back set Saturday against Denver.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Probable against Clippers

Williams (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the Clippers.

Williams is likely to return from a one-game absence for knee injury management. The veteran big man has played fewer than 20 minutes in each of his last four appearances, and he should handle the backup role behind Donovan Clingan.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Out with minor groin strain

Davis (groin) is expected to miss a few games, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Davis sustained a minor groin strain in Thursday's loss to the Warriors, and he'll likely need to sit out for around a week or so. With the superstar big man sidelined, fantasy managers can expect Daniel Gafford to see an expanded role at center while Dwight Powell handles the backup role.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Muted effort Thursday

Gafford supplied six points (3-3 FG) and five rebounds across 15 minutes during Thursday's 126-116 loss to Golden State.

Gafford hasn't cracked the 20-minute mark since the Nov. 24 loss in Miami, but he could see a rise in playing time with Anthony Davis (groin) likely to miss some time. Gafford has averaged 4.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 14.8 minutes per contest over his last seven games.

  • James Wiseman: Waived by Indiana

The Pacers waived Wiseman on Friday.

Wiseman signed a 10-day contract back on Dec. 20, so he won't finish out his short-term deal. He made a total of three appearances during this stint, totaling 37 minutes.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Solid display in limited minutes

Jackson-Davis racked up 10 points (5-6 FG), five rebounds, one block and one steal over 13 minutes during Thursday's 126-116 win over the Mavericks.

Jackson-Davis achieved a season-high scoring count by shooting 83.3 percent from the field during Thursday's clash. Having made just one start this season, he's not expected to be favored over Quinten Post at center but could continue to see action off the bench in upcoming contests.

  • Bam Adebayo C | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Downgraded to doubtful

Adebayo (back) is now doubtful for Friday's game against the Hawks.

Adebayo was previously listed as questionable for Miami. With the center expected to sit out, Kel'el Ware could have a higher floor Friday, and more minutes will be available for someone like Jaime Jaquez.
