Jrue Holiday PG | POR
Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Not listed on injury report
Holiday (hand) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
Holiday sat out Friday's preseason finale due to right hand soreness, though he'll return to action in Wednesday's regular-season opener. The veteran guard appears likely to begin the season with the second unit, and he faces competition for playing time from Scoot Henderson and Vit Krejci.

Micah Potter PF | POR
Trail Blazers' Micah Potter: Questionable for Wednesday
Potter (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Suns.
Potter missed Portland's preseason finale due to this illness and now he's in danger of missing Opening Night. However, Potter is not expected to have a significant role in the rotation, so his playing status won't impact fantasy leagues.

Malik Monk SG | SAC
Kings' Malik Monk: Questionable for Wednesday
Monk (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
Monk is in danger of missing Wednesday's regular-season opener due to left ankle soreness. His absence would leave additional minutes available for the likes of Nique Clifford and Emanuel Sharp.

Deni Avdija PF | POR
Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Questionable for Wednesday
Avdija is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns due to right ankle soreness.
It would be surprising if Avdija missed Wednesday's season opener at home due to ankle soreness, but we'll have a better idea on his status based on Avdija's activity level at shootaround. If he can't give it a go on Opening Night, Sidy Cissoko could start, and Ja Morant would likely see an uptick in usage.

Javonte Green SF | DET
Pistons' Javonte Green: Erupts for 19 points in victory
Green dropped 19 points (5-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and four rebounds across 18 minutes in Detroit's season-opening 121-113 comeback victory over the Celtics on Tuesday.
The veteran forward scored all of his points in the second half to help the Pistons erase a 22-point deficit. Green fueled an 18-0 run and finished with a game-best plus-21 in his 18 minutes off the bench. He wasn't expected to be a major part of the rotation, but he's likely earned himself more opportunities moving forward.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope SF | PHI
76ers' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Not starting Tuesday
Caldwell-Pope won't start Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
The veteran swingman got the starting nod in Philadelphia's preseason finale, though VJ Edgecombe will return to action and reclaim his spot in the starting five in Tuesday's regular-season opener. Caldwell-Pope could still see a bump in minutes Tuesday due to Dean Wade (ankle) being sidelined.

Anfernee Simons SG | PHI
76ers' Anfernee Simons: Available to play
Simons (hamstring) is available for Tuesday's regular-season opener in New York.
Simons is set to debut for Philadelphia after signing with the organization as a free agent in the offseason. Between the Celtics and Bulls in 2025-26, Simons averaged 14.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists while connecting on 38.5 percent of his three-point attempts across 55 regular-season appearances. He'll operate as a scoring spark for the Sixers' second unit behind starters Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe when they visit the Knicks on Opening Night
-
Adem Bona C | PHI
76ers' Adem Bona: Ready to roll for regular-season opener
Bona (foot) is available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
Across 71 regular-season games (18 starts) in 2025-26, Bona averaged 4.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks, providing solid rim protection and defense behind Joel Embiid and the departed Andre Drummond. With Drummond now in New York and Ariel Hukporti (Achilles) already out for the season, Bona is primed to earn the backup center spot and has the opportunity to see a career high in minutes in 2026-27, especially when considering Embiid's health concerns over the last several years.
-
Dean Wade PF | PHI
76ers' Dean Wade: Ruled out for regular-season opener
Wade (ankle) is out for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
The former Cavalier, who signed with the 76ers in the offseason following seven seasons in Cleveland, will have to wait at least one more game to make his debut with Philadelphia. Wade averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 three-pointers made on 36.2 percent shooting in 2025-26 across 59 regular-season appearances (38 starts). With him on the shelf for the 2026-27 Opening Night, expect Justin Edwards, Rayan Rupert and Jabari Walker to see their roles increased slightly.
