Tarik Biberovic SF | DAL
Mavericks' Tarik Biberovic: Out for Wednesday
Biberovic (heel) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Houston.
Biberovic will miss Dallas' regular-season opener due to right heel bursitis. His next opportunity to play will come Friday against Indiana.

Jett Howard SG | DAL
Mavericks' Jett Howard: Moving past illness
Howard (illness) is off the injury report for Wednesday's season opener against the Rockets.
Howard has overcome an illness in time to be available for Opening Night. He's not likely to be part of the Dallas rotation right off the bat, though.
-
Isaiah Stewart PF | MEM
Grizzlies' Isaiah Stewart: Doubtful for Wednesday
Stewart (ankle) is doubtful to play Wednesday against the Jazz.
Stewart is still recovering from an ankle injury he sustained during the preseason on Oct. 5, and it looks like he'll miss Memphis' regular-season opener. With Stewart out of the lineup, Quinten Post should be more involved in the rotation.
-
Dereck Lively II C | DAL
Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Ruled out for regular-season opener
Lively (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Houston.
Lively is without a clear timetable to return to game action after undergoing right foot surgery last December. He can be considered doubtful ahead of Friday's game against Indiana until Dallas provides an update on his status.
-
Blake Hinson SF | UTA
Jazz's Blake Hinson: Ruled out for regular-season opener
Hinson (hamstring) is out for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies.
After missing Utah's final two preseason tilts with adductor and hamstring injuries, Hinson will be forced to sit out the regular-season opener. The 26-year-old averaged 7.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.4 minutes across his two exhibition contests. Even when healthy, Hinson is not projected to be a part of the rotation for a Jazz team ready to compete for a postseason berth in 2026-27.
-
Gregory Jackson PF | MEM
Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Absent from injury report
Jackson (ankle) is off the injury report for Wednesday's season opener against the Jazz.
Jackson is good to go for the start of the season after dealing with a tweaked ankle. He's battling with Taylor Hendricks and Olivier-Maxence Prosper for playing time in the frontcourt in the early going.
-
Santi Aldama C | DAL
Mavericks' Santi Aldama: Ruled out for Wednesday
Aldama (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Aldama is still ramping up after undergoing right knee surgery in March, and his next chance to play will come Friday against Indiana. With the big man sidelined, Morez Johnson and Moussa Cisse could see increased playing time.
-
Tony Bradley C | UTA
Jazz's Tony Bradley: Won't play Wednesday
Bradley is out for Wednesday's game in Memphis due to a left quadriceps strain.
It's unclear when Bradley suffered this injury, but he'll begin the 2026-27 season on the sidelines. For now, he should be considered questionable for Friday's meeting with the Pelicans.
-
Kyle Filipowski PF | UTA
Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Not listed on injury report
Filipowski (back) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies.
Filipowski tweaked his back while lifting in the 2025-26 offseason, which caused painful sciatica down his leg throughout the campaign and limited his explosiveness. This offseason, he underwent surgery to fix the herniated disc in his back that was causing the pain. The third-year big man didn't play at all during the preseason while in the final stages of his rehab, so it's unclear how many minutes he'll be able to play right away. However, with Jusuf Nurkic (foot) slated to miss time at the start of the season, Filipowski may be asked to handle as much usage as he can.
-
Trey Alexander SG | UTA
Jazz's Trey Alexander: Ruled out for Wednesday
Alexander won't play Wednesday against the Grizzlies due to a left knee bone bruise.
Alexander sat out Friday's preseason finale with what the team initially described as a left knee injury, but we now know he's dealing with a bone bruise. Don't be surprised if Alexander misses Friday's game against the Pelicans as well.
