McCaffrey (oblique), who officially is listed as questionable, is expected to play Monday against Minnesota, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
McCaffrey, who turned in a limited practice session Saturday, looks to be on track for Monday Night Football. The star running back's status will be made official roughly 90 minutes before Sunday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, but at this point the drumbeat has been consistently positive regarding his chances of being active. What remains to be seen is whether McCaffrey's snaps could be capped due to the oblique injury he sustained Week 6. Elijah Mitchell and Jordan Mason stand to see work in either case, and the tandem of backups may see increased opportunities if McCaffrey is limited in any capacity.
