49ers' Dre Greenlaw: Undergoes surgery

Greenlaw had successful surgery to repair his torn Achilles on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Greenlaw suffered the injury during the Super Bowl and now will face a lengthy recovery. He is expected to return to full strength, but he could miss a good portion of the 2024 season as a result. A clearer timeline should emerge throughout the offseason.
