49ers' Fred Warner: Questionable to return vs. Pats

Warner is nursing an ankle injury and is questionable to return for the second half of Sunday's game against New England, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Warner was in the midst of a monster day, having registered seven tackles (four solo) and a 45-yard pick-six in the first half of Sunday's contest. However, he's dealing with an ankle issue, which could keep him from returning for the second half of Sunday's contest. Tatum Bethune would be the next man up at middle linebacker for the 49ers if Warner were to be sidelined.
