Dalton completed 24 of 39 passes for 317 yards and a touchdown with an interception in a 16-14 win over the Lions on Thanksgiving. He gained 11 yards on six carries.

While the veteran quarterback had some struggles when the Bears were in position to score, throwing one pick in the end zone and nearly throwing another on a drive that ended in a Chicago field goal, Dalton was able to lead his team on an 18-play, eight-and-a-half minute drive in the fourth quarter to set up Cairo Santos for a game-winning FG as time expired. Dalton will likely return to the bench if Justin Fields (ribs) is healthy for a Week 13 clash with the Cardinals, but with coach Matt Nagy apparently on the hot seat, he could be tempted to keep Dalton's steadier hand under center rather than live with the rookie's growing pains.
