Sample (oblique) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Sample has played 22 percent of the defensive snaps across nine games this season, producing nine tackles (five solo) and a pair of QB hits. Isaiah Foskey could see elevated snaps as a backup off the edge for the Bengals.
