Murphy-Bunting (ankle) enters his second year in the league locked in as one of Tampa Bay's starting cornerbacks, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Murphy-Bunting appeared in all 16 regular-season games as a rookie, compiling 44 tackles (37 solo) and three interceptions, though he left the season finale against Atlanta prematurely with an ankle injury. The Buccaneers will now rely on a healthy Murphy-Bunting to serve as a leader in the secondary heading into Year 2. The 23-year-old will look to take a step forward in his development while competing in a division that contains the likes of Julio Jones, Michael Thomas and D.J. Moore.
