The Jets signed Jackson to their practice squad Wednesday, Randy Lange of the team's official site reports.
Jackson was waived by the Jets during Tuesday's roster cuts despite posting two game-winning touchdowns this preseason. The rookie will now operate as a depth piece on New York's practice squad, but he could be elevated to the active roster should the team's wide receivers miss any time.
