Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Won't play Week 1

Mariota (chest) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Washington's new No. 2 quarterback won't be suiting up for the team's regular-season opener after logging DNPs during practice both Thursday and Friday. With Mariota sidelined, expect Jeff Driskel to back up rookie Jayden Daniels in Week 1.
