Cooper had eight receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Vikings.

Not having a top-tier quarterback like Dak Prescott (calf) healthy would normally be a huge loss for a team's receiving corps, but it turned out to be a boon for Cooper in this situation. It was the veteran wideout's first game with 100-plus yards and a touchdown since Week 1. This is a clear case of correlation not equaling causation, as Prescott obviously makes the entire Cowboys offense better as a whole. CeeDee Lamb's leap in his sophomore year is the main factor cutting into Cooper's volume this year, but both receivers were able to eat Sunday. Prescott has a good shot to return next week in a home tilt against the Broncos.
