The Giants waived Dillon (undisclosed) on Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Dillon was placed on IR early August, and he stands to revert to the Giants' injured list if he goes unclaimed on waivers. The 25-year-old spent time on New York's practice squad last season.
