Dexter Williams: Released from practice squad

Williams was released from the Browns' practice squad Tuesday, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Williams was added to the Browns' practice squad while they dealt with a COVID-19 outbreak to their running back room. Now that Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton are back, Williams finds himself as the odd man out. In a corresponding move, Cleveland re-signed John Kelly to its practice squad.
