Armstead has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Texans with a pectoral injury.
With Armstead now done for the day, Brandon Shell is slated to command left tackle duties for the time being, per Adam H. Beasley of ProFootballNetwork.com. While the severity of the veteran's injury remains unclear, his next chance to suit up comes next Sunday in San Francisco.
