Coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Mims' availability for Sunday's game against the Dolphins is "in doubt," Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. The receiver has been on the reserve/ COVID-19 list since Nov. 9.
Mims requires one more negative COVID-19 test in order to clear the league's protocols, but the Jets could need to see him at practice before making him active on game day. The second-year pro missed Week 10 while on the COVID-19 list, and with all of Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole available, it's unclear how significant a role Mims will be asked to play even if he does suit up versus Miami.
