John Hurst: Dropped from practice squad

The Buccaneers cut Hurst from the practice squad Wednesday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Hurst made the Buccaneers team out of training camp but started the year on IR with an ankle injury. He was waived from the active roster before playing a game, and now he'll look for a new team entirely. Given his ability to already make one NFL team in his career, Hurst should at least be able to find a practice squad role elsewhere.
