Lions' Giovanni Manu: Placed on NFI list

Manu (undisclosed) was placed on the active/non-football injury list Sunday.

Manu will open training camp on the sidelines as the Lions hit the practice field. The offensive lineman is dealing with an undisclosed non-football injury, but he's eligible to return to practice and play at any point in the preseason.
