Lions' Saivion Smith: Returns to Detroit

Smith and the Lions agreed to a contract Monday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.

Smith suffered a significant neck injury in October of last season and proceeded to stay on the practice-squad injured list for the remainder of the campaign. The 25-year-old now will be back in Detroit for 2023 and look to carve out a role in the secondary on the active roster.
