Nate Gerry: Released by 49ers

Gerry was released by the 49ers on Tuesday, Rueben Frank of NBCSports.com reports.

Gerry did not last long in San Francisco, being released before even suiting up for a game. The 26-year-old linebacker will now look to sign on with a new team prior to the beginning of training camp later this month.
