Smith (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Panthers Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
Smith has appeared in each of the Packers' seven regular-season games. However, he will be a healthy scratch Thursday night, meaning Mark Redman and Josh Whyle will be behind Tucker Kraft on the depth chart.
