Sam Sloman: Inks practice-squad deal

San Francisco signed Sloman to its practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

With Robbie Gould's (knee) status unclear, the 49ers will add Sloman to their practice squad for insurance. Sloman hasn't kicked in the NFL since 2020, when he appeared in seven games for the Rams and one contest for the Titans. During that stretch, he went 10-for-13 on field-goal attempts and 23-for-26 on point-after tries.
